the best games I've ever played over the past 2 decades. Also some of
the most nostalgic games I know.
DartMUD
Officially thé best game I've ever played. Ever.
It is the very definition of what roleplaying is supposed to be, fuck
"mmorpg's", they rape the existence of what "rpg" used to be. It's also
one of the hardest and harshest games I know. It takes a lot of time to
master, but nothing is worth it more.
Shame about the player base.
Master
of Magic
A fabulous game, combining fantasy, rpg, strategy and empire
management. Highly addictive.
HOTU
A great site with a massive database concerning old and underdog games.
There's a lot of crap in it, but there's also some fantastic
discoveries to be made.
Pity the site's rather slow.
Dungeon
Crawl
In my opinion the best RL game I've ever played. Easy to learn, hard to
master, but more addictive than speedballing.
Oblivion
Ah, Oblivion. I'm not into most modern "rpg's", they're mostly
repetitive linear rip-offs. That's why DartMUD's my favorite game ever,
you have ultimate liberty to do what you like.
Oblivion barely comes close to that, but it's still a highly addictive
game, due to some minor details that manage to suck you right in.
Battlefield

Just about the closest thing to playing soldier. One of the best online
shooters I've ever played. Obviously, also highly addictive.
Rogue
Spear
One of the best and most realistic shooters I've played sofar. It's
nice to play a game where you're NOT immortal for a change, where a
bullet really kills you, but where a bullet really kills the enemy as
well.
A hell of a rush!
GTA
San Andreas
One of the best all-round games I've ever seen. The details, the
liberty, the options, the storyline, the rush, the options. This game
is DONE, with very few to zero remarks.
